Art On The Street

At the height of the summer, the Downtown Guelph Business Association is pleased to bring artistic ingenuity and vibrancy to downtown Guelph.

We will be hosting the 7th annual art on the street open air exhibition and sale on Saturday, July 18th from 11am-6pm.

This free event features artists from across Ontario showcasing their works in a broad range of media to audiences estimated at 5,000 last year alone!

Painters, potters, jewellers, glass-blowers, woodworkers represent just some of the regional talent that will line Quebec Street to showcase their work to the public.

Amble the historic downtown streets, meet the artists and immerse yourself in the welcoming atmosphere that art on the street offers. Engage in Acts of Art with live music, magical performances, and so much more.

This is a family friendly event celebrating downtown Guelph. So please, join us as we celebrate the 7th anniversary of what has become a high-calibre and much loved, juried art event.

To complement the artists’ booths, an inspired festival atmosphere can be found at the furthest end of Quebec Street and in St. George’s Square.

Sooooooooo

Alot of stress and things going on right now.

In a few weeks it is Guelph’s “Art On The Street” show trying to get things ready for that will be heading out to print this weekend and start putting prints into sleves for sale.

After that going to cottage for a week at the end of July.

Then when I come back I go to Toronto to put up my Artistic nude show there. The opening will be the week after that.

All before this happens I need to slot in times for me to get more photos done for that art nude show cause I don’t have enough!

AGH!!!…lol

So have been busy trying to do all this stuff plus have been tweeking my web page and getting the wedding one going as well.

We still have to go through things on the wedding page but it’s up and where we are liking it.

Crazy Weekend

So had a crazy busy weekend

Sat meself and Ange shot a wedding for Cam and Sarah Waite and so much fun even in the damn rain… nor sleet rain or snow will stop us.. we are like the postal workers.

Sunday I had a big themed shot planned out for a one of a kind poster I’m making to sell to boast up money for new camera.

Here are a couple fun shots from Sunday’s shoot while we waited for other models to arrive.

Weekend

So yesterday had a great shoot with a client.  I hope to work with him again in the future. So adventurous and easy to work with.

After that I went out shopping for the afternoon wtih my friend Ange man even when that girl just needs a few things it can take forever for her to pick them..lol

Got home had supper and spent time with my daughter we did our nails and watched a movie.. Twilight.

After watching another mindless movie I went and edited a bit then off to bed.

Today I woke up and my daughter had a present for me that she got for me on her vaction in florida. It is a mom and daughter necklace so we both have one so cute I love my girl.

SO today working on book damn it if I have to sit here all day it will get done.

Summer Loving

Some days I think I want to be in a loving happy relationship other days I think why?

Maybe I just don’t know what the heck I want or need from a man anymore. Call me crazy or maybe I’m just getting into my Grove ( yes at my age) but I want to have a fun summer not one where I have to worry about anything other then work my family friends and the occasional date with someone fun to hang out with.

So let me know what you think… am I to over the top wanting this or should I be more conservative?
